About this project
My First Feature Film. After a recommendation from my mentor, Piotr Kukla NSC PSC, I was approached by the renowned Algerian-Dutch actor and director Hakim Traidia. The task wasn’t simple—working with the budget of a short film, we set out to shoot a feature film across two continents. This marked the beginning of one of the greatest adventures of my life.
For the first time, I wasn’t juggling multiple responsibilities—I could focus solely on being a Director of Photography, with an actual team behind me. We filmed over 26 shooting days, spread across seven months, involving many A-list Algerian stars and paying tribute to the Algerian cult classic Inspecteur Tahar.
The movie is to be released in 2026.
